To put it very simple. The last of us has an ok story with great character drama. Gameplay wise it's a third person shooter with some stealth mechanics but 0 ground braking ideias put in, it's all a means to push you to the next plot point. The lat of us part 2 has basically the same gameplay, with both some upgrades and downgrades from the
So, the last episode of season 1 just aired for the Last of Us TV Adaptation and I wanted to talk about it. First off, having Ashley Johnson come in and play Ellie's mother was a great choice. Not a whole lot to talk about there but it's great to see them giving respect to the original VA like that. Secondly, I think the Hospital Scene was
The Last of Us games, especially 2, has some mountainous cognitive dissonance issues that wont fly in a more matured storytelling medium like TV or film. The story in the games are supposed to challenge you on the value of human life but the linear actions you're forced to do are in disagreement with what the story is saying.

The last of us is actually really fucking good, the beginning of the game alone is a reason enough to watch the upcoming show (the first game) Reply jez124 •
The casting was spot on, the music, the scenery was breathtaking. I coudn't have asked for more. I even cried two times during the series and I usually don't cry ever watching television or in general. There was just something so real about Joel and Ellie. Thank you HBO and everyone who was involved to create this series.
